In 2007, ChemTreat, majority owned by its employees at the time, was acquired by Danaher Corporation[3], a global science and technology conglomerate headquartered in Washington, D.C., for $435 million[4]. Danaher's businesses are concentrated in the fields of design, manufacturing, and marketing of industrial and consumer products, currently operating in five segments: Environmental, Test & Measurement, Dental, Life Sciences & Diagnostics, and Industrial Technologies.
